| "Five years ago, my wife and I bought an old farmstead northwest of Madison. It had a turn-of-the-century house that we hoped to renovate and live in someday. Finally, in 2014, we felt the time was right to sell our Sioux Falls house and move to the acreage permanently.
My wife heard about Williams Brothers Construction through a coworker so we contacted them about renovating our old farmhouse. Craig Williams met with us and we shared our dream of restoring it with him. Right away, we liked Craig’s can-do attitude, enthusiasm, and friendliness so we decided he was the right contractor for us. Craig started working on plans for the renovation while we started gutting the house in preparation for the renovation.
Unfortunately, some dreams are just not meant to be. Many problems with the structure of the old house were revealed during demolition. Craig was supportive and investigated many options to keep our project within budget but eventually it was evident the cost of renovation was going to be more than building a new house. So, the decision was made to tear down the old house and build a new one.
We wanted a county-style house and after showing him some examples of what we liked, Craig and his staff quickly designed us a new house that had all the features we desired and was within our budget.
The demolition of the old house and construction of the new house went as smoothly as one could expect. Craig, his crew, and his subcontractors were exceptionally easy to work with throughout the entire process. Phone calls and messages were returned promptly and Craig would meet with us frequently, in person, to explain the next steps and get our preferences on the multitude of things that go into a new house. Sure, there were a few bumps in the road, but all were relatively minor and did not cause significant delays. Most importantly, Craig and his team handled everything very professionally and courteously.
Everyone has heard stories about construction projects gone bad and contractors who were a nightmare to work with. Our experience with Williams Brothers Construction was nothing like that at all. Many people also say they would never build another house again. My wife and I do not feel that way either. We plan to live here for the rest of our life, but if we did decide to move and build a new house, we would definitely choose Williams Brothers Construction to build it. In the meantime, we have future plans to renovate some of our old farm buildings and Williams Brothers Construction will be our first choice for those jobs as well. "

"Less than one year ago, I was minding my own business, baking cookies, and living in a townhouse in Watertown, SD, until a realtor friend of mine sold our townhouse for a full price, cash offer. How can I say "no" to a deal like that??!! So now what do I do? After some soul searching and conversation with my husband, he and I decided we would like to retire in Madison. Well, ten minutes after the decision was made, I was in the car on the search for our new home. After 3 days of house hunting and not one house was move in ready, my son suggested I call Williams Brothers. So, I did, and approximately 30 days later, after multiple home tours with Craig, our lot was purchases and our new house plans were drawn. Craig and his crew were excellent to work with. They made a few minor changes and a few add-ons without hesitation. I tried to stay a few steps ahead of them with my finishing choices; however, their efficiency had me hustling a couple of times! To me, that's a good thing! Craig even fulfilled his promise that I could move in before Thanksgiving!! My new home is just what we wanted. It's very light and open. Having entertained our family for the holidays, all 14 of us for 4 days, we enjoyed every square inch. I'm excited now that spring is here so Craig and his crew can come back and finish the outdoor work. Thanks to Craig, it's a beautiful home inside and out. I would highly recommend them."

"We are grateful for the responsiveness from Williams Brothers Construction. They met us at convenient times, allowed us to do conference calls after hours, etc. They always returned our calls to answer our questions. They also worked hard to make sure we were satisfied with the work.

"I would recommend Craig Williams as a general contractor. We have been working with Craig and his crew for over a year on a clinic building expansion project in Madison, South Dakota. His work is of high quality, he is easy to work with and accommodated changes easily. He gives experienced and professional expertise and guidance. I would work with Craig and his crew on other projects in the future."

"I am very pleased to share with you my letter of reference for Craig Williams and his crew at Williams Brothers Construction, based here in Madison, South Dakota. I did not personally know Craig until he did some work for our development director and his wife when they purchased a home at Lake Herman. Craig tore the original house down and built a completely new home, garage, and workshop. I was impressed then with the workmanship, attention to detail, and the final outcome of the home.
Last fall, our board of directors decided to build a twin home on the southeast corner of our campus. Five local contractors were selected for a personal interview, and Williams Brothers Construction was one of the five interviewed. We were impressed with his board presentation and his willingness to make any changes that the board had requested. Williams Brothers Construction was selected, their bid was approved, and work began the Maarch building a twin home, each 1,494 square feet in size.
I truly enjoyed working with Craig Williams on our project. The twin home was completed on schedule and within budget. When I contacted Craig with questions or issues, he always has given me a quick response and/or solution. Each incoming resident was given allowances for certain areas of their home, and Craig was more that patient in working with these folds in helping them create their new home with us.
Before the twin home project was finished, our board of directors voted to expand our existing intergenerational day program by construction a 38 x 78 daycare center on our campus at a cost of $251,429. By now, they saw for themselves the workmanship in the twin home project, and simply told me to “get a bid from Craig and let him build it“. That project is ahead of schedule, on budget, and will open in January.
I invite you to contact me with further question at any time. I would recommend Craig Williams and his crew at Williams Brothers Construction, based on the quality I have seen built and the satisfaction we will have for years to come."

"It was our pleasure to meet Craig, as we were obtaining bids from local contractors, to build our dream home. Throughout the bidding process, Craig was extremely knowledgeable with regards to how he and his crew build their houses and his friendly demeanor made him a joy to talk to.
After our bidding process, we chose Craig as our contractor. He assured us since we were his first house to build so early in the spring, that he and his crew would finish our house without interruption. Craig, being true to his word, built us our dream house in less than 3 months.
Whether you are building a new home or remodeling your existing home, Craig makes himself available to answer questions and to guide you through the entire project. He really made the entire home building process and easy one. All prices are agreed upon in writing via the contract you sign and any changes are managed through his change order process. This made it really easy to stay on budget.
We moved into our dream home in June and we simply love it. We wouldn’t change a thing. We invite you to contact us with further questions at any time. We would recommend Craig Williams and his crew at Williams Brothers Construction, based on the quality of workmanship and the satisfaction we will have for years to come."

"When one of my customers comes to me and wants to build a new home it is a relief when they say they are working with Craig Williams. Craig has been building home for many years and understands the paperwork requirements on the financing end. Over the 15 years Craig and I have worked together he has completed many different projects. His paperwork is always on time, the project is completed as planned and we have a happy customer.
As a customer of Williams Bros. Construction I am equally pleased. Shelly and I built a new house in the NW corner of Madison in 2005. We had not intending on selling our old house on Union Ave. right away, we were going to get started on the new one and list the old one eventually. An offer on the house was made, before we had even finalized our plans, I called Craig and asked how fast he could get a house done. A little more than 60 days later we were in our new house. Craig and his crew built our house as well as three others in the NW development that summer. Subcontractors and Craig’s crew would move from ours to housed completing the day’s work as scheduled and moving on to the next job. From the cement work to the carpeting, Craig was available for questions, and as we had never built a new house before, we had plenty of questions.
As a banker I can not recommend one contractor over another but I can tell you that you will be happy and satisfied that Craig Williams, Williams Bros. Construction and his subcontractors were chosen to build your housing project."

|"In regards to Williams Brothers Construction, I have worked with them for approximately 25 years. I have done loans for my customers who have purchased homes built by William’s Brothers Construction. They have always had the homes completed prior to the date stated on their purchase agreements.
I have never had any problems with time constraints or problems with the houses when it is time to have the appraisal completed or had to have something redone to compy with the appraisal.
I would highly recommend them as they are nothing but professionals in their quality of building."

|"Williams Brothers Constuction (WBC) has just completed a project for me on the outskirts of Madison. Craig Williams and his crd did an excellent job helping to develop the plan and managing the construction process.
The project was a 4800 square foot recreational building with heated shop, living space and an area for horses. A covered patio was also included. The project was completed with superior quality throughout. In addition, the sub contractors worked will with Williams Brothers Construction to make sure the project was done in a timely fashion.
Craig communicated with us throughout the project on a regular basis to keep us informed of any issues that arose and to allow us time to make decisions on the features and finishes of the building."
|"My company contracted Williams Brothers Construction to do some executive offices inside an existing steel building. Approximately $65,000.00 of renovation and new construction. I was very satisfied with the quality of workmanship. This was not a simple project because it had to be completed while we continued to run all factory jobs around the construction build. The completed the job on schedule. I have since contracted Williams Brothers to participate in an expansion project valued at over $1,000,000.00 and again they are on schedule and at costs quoted. I would definitely recommend you to consider Williams Brothers for your next project."

"It is with pleasure that I recommend Williams Brothers Construction to take on any project big or small. I have contracted with the Williams Brothers many times for many years. They built the house that I currently live in out by Lake Herman. The quality of workmanship was outstanding.
My wife, Debra, and I both think they were very easy to work with and very accommodating when a change was necessary or a problem came up. I would highly recommend Williams Brothers Construction for any friend and know that they will make their next customer a happy one."
"I am pleased to recommend Craig Williams of Williams Brothers Construction as your general contractor. Craig was the general contractor for my house that was built in 2000 and is the contractor for the home I am currently building. In the construction of our homes, I have spent considerable time with Craig. During that time, I have found him to be very organized, punctual and devoted to his work. He is customer focused and has always made sure we understood the different options available to use while keeping within our budget. Craig Williams is a dependable contractor that does quality work and is customer focused. I have total confidence that Craig can and will do an excellent job for you as your general contractor."
